This past weekend Heather and I had the opportunity to get away for Valentine’s Day. I found a great deal on a package for a hotel downtown and aquarium tickets. It was actually our first Valentine’s Day together so we were pretty excited. This time last year we were on separate continents and I was anticipating my visit to South Africa to propose to Heather.

An added bonus to our weekend downtown was to be able to attend the launch service of Passion City Church (www.passioncitychurch.com) Passion City Church is a new church venture started by Louie Giglio, Chris Tomlin, and Matt Redman. They are currently meeting once a month at various locations around Atlanta. There is a lot of talk about Passion City Church in the Christian community of the Atlanta area so it will be interesting to see where they settle permanently.

This is a super busy time at Adventures in Missions recruiting both leaders and students for our summer trips. Heather has another recruiting trip on Thursday. She’s seen some good results from her college recruiting visits. We’ve both been very busy with interviews, paper work, travel arrangements etc. for potential and accepted leaders. In addition we are helping plan our upcoming leader training April 2-5 and our summer training camp.

There is also a BreakThru Conference and World Race training that is quickly approaching the last week of March. Heather and I will be involved with that helping lead worship, serving as prayer partners, facilitating team builders and experiential activities etc.

We welcome your prayers during this busy and important season at AIM. We also welcome your prayers as God continues to solidify and reveal what he has in store for our next season of life and ministry.

P.S. Little Maeby is doing well and is quite a handful!! She continues to bring so much excitement and joy to our lives.
